ANA Grant: Language Preservation
Cheesh’na Tribal Council has been awarded a grant through Administration for Native Americans, Native American Language Preservation and Maintenance, for three years of the Upper Ahtna Language Preservation: “As it has Always Been; There will Always Be” Project.
It is the mission of the Cheesh’na Tribal Council to improve the health and welfare of the residents of Chistochina Village.
